The replay will appear diferently depending on whether at least one Snapshot or Mapshot was saved during the meeting.
In the replay above no Snapshots or Mapshots were saved.
Recordings are accessed
using a special
'direct' URL link, which can be kept as secret or 'open' as required.
If this URL is not used, the meeting's password will have to be entered
into the text field on the 'start' screen, before the replay
can be viewed.
Replay Features
Navigation
 |
Use the navigation
controls under the playback window to navigate through replay
segments.
Each 'segment' is listed within the 'list' tab. Click on an individual
listing to jump to and continue from that segment. The currently playing
segment is highlighted in green.
You can also click on an individual 'segment box' on the timeline; or along
the space above the timeline (where the start and end times are shown)
to jump to a specific point.
Click on a blue coloured 'time-stamp' link from a tab panel listing (text
chat for example) to make the replay 'jump' to that time in the meeting. |
Tabs
 |
Click on one of
the tabs at the top to view information about the meeting.
List: to see a list of broadcast segments recorded during the meeting.
Chat: to see the 'public' text chat messages sent during the meeting.
Urls: to see a list of the URLs that were shared during the meeting.
Files: to see the files that were uploaded for distribution within the meeting.
'Flash': to see a list of those who attended, annotations and vote history, recorded
during the meeting. |
Sharing
specific points in a meeting
 |
Alt+Click on a currently
selected 'section' in the play list and a window will pop-up
containing a 'bookmark' URL to the start of that section.
Copy the URL and paste it into, say, an email and the recipient
will have a link directly to that part of the meeting. When
they 'use' the link the meeting will open, jump to the start
of that section and begin playing.
You can also Alt+click on a 'box' in the meeting's 'timeline' to do the same
thing.
If a section is fairly long, you may want to Alt+Click on the Play/Pause button
instead to target a time 'within' the section, it will replay from that time
not the start of the section. (Note however, that people on a slow connection
will have to wait while enough of the section downloads, to allow jumping to
the specific point within it). |
Volume
controls
 |
If you wish to reduce
the volume of all of a particular individual's broadcasts,
click on their 'name area' situated at the bottom left of
the interface. Clicking towards the left is less and towards
the right is more.
A grey bar indicates the level for each person. No grey bar visible is maximum
volume. A grey bar fully across the 'name area' is minimum volume.
• 'Left' Click to change a single individual's volume.
• Alt+Click if you wish to change everyone's volume to the same level at
once.
• Ctrl+Click (Cmd+Click Macs) if you wish to change everyone's volume in
'proportion' to the change made to the person clicked on. |
Loading
and Interface Items
 |
The two loading
bars above the list of names, show the download progress
of individual segments. The upper green bar is the amount
of each movie segment downloaded to your machine and the
lower blue bar shows how full the 'internal buffer' is.
The horizontal dark grey bars to the right of each person's name, indicate the
periods the person was connected to the meeting. |
Viewing
extra items
 |
Use the view URLs
button to open URLs in a separate window,
as the replay progresses. |
Editing
 |
A range of edit
options is available to the meeting organizer and any other
people they might authorize, using the administration pages.
For example annotations can be added and viewed in the replay
by clicking on the green 'flags'. Also individual broadcasts,
text chat
lines and URL's etc., can be
removed from
the playback. |
Below is an example of the replay version seen when at least one snapshot or mapshot is saved. It has similar features to the replay shown above, but has been redesigned to include an area to view the saved 'shots'.

|
1: Navigation buttons. |

|
2: Choose a tab to display specific details of the meeting. If a tab is grey no details were recorded. |

|
3: Choose to view the snapshots or mapshots. If only one type was recorded these buttons do not appear. Check 'auto' to swap between views as the recording plays. |

|
4: Check 'Synchronize' to have the 'shots' play along in time with the replay. Uncheck and use the arrows to navigate through the 'shots' without the video replay. |

|
5: The time and title of the 'shot' is displayed here. |

|
6: The 'TIME' tab displays the broadcasts of the participants along the timeline. Click on a segment to jump to that time. |

|
7: Click on the 'ruler' above the 'TIME' tab display to jump to that point in the meeting. |
